Real Estate Firm brings the joy of the holidays to less fortunate children in Southeastern Wisconsin
BROOKFIELD, WIS. 一 On Saturday, December 7th, Shorewest proudly hosted their annual Christmas is for Kids (C4K) event at the Embassy Suites. This event has been happening over the past 40 years thanks to the efforts of Shorewest team members and is spearheaded by agent Christine Caponigro, who took over this annual project after her dad began it in the 80’s.
“C4K, as well as every fundraising and preparatory event that leads up to it, is one of our most highly anticipated events throughout the year. Our team members look forward to giving back to the children of various different communities throughout Wisconsin, and the smiles that we see on the kids’ faces when they receive a gift from Santa are the perfect way to set the tone for the holiday season,” said Shorewest President, Joe Horning. “We are so proud of all of the hard work our team members have put in and would like to thank all of the donors and sponsors who provided us with essential items that make this event extra special, too. We couldn’t wait to share the joy of the season with the children in our local communities who need it the most.”
Christmas is for Kids would not be possible without the tireless efforts and donations of time and money made by the Shorewest team throughout the entire year. Thanks to events like the annual C4K golf outing, the largest fundraiser for this event, Shorewest team members are able to achieve their goal of putting on a wonderful holiday celebration for children in need in the communities that they serve. This year, generous donations were made by Embassy Suites, Hartfest, HD Supply, Bluemound Express and Mondelez International Inc. Thanks to these companies, Shorewest was able to provide hundreds of children with food, fun, necessary self care tools and a day of holiday cheer.
